Dr. Yaron Shmueli DVM
Dr. Shmueli has earned his DVM diploma in 2002, from The University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest, Hungary ( https://univet.hu/en). Dr. Shmueli was raised on a farm surrounded by animals. Helping out on the farm and taking care of the farm animals and house pets, he knew from a very early age that he wanted to be a veterinarian. Dr. S has a true love for all animals and considers it a privilege to practice veterinary medicine. He has special interest in Internal Medicine and Surgery. Dr. S is a skilled and experienced surgeon. He has completed advanced training in sophisticated orthopedic procedures, such as TPLO, TTA and Lateral fabellar imbrication techniques for ACL tears. Internal fixations of fractures, soft tissue surgical complicated procedures e.g. Urethrostomies in cats/dogs, ear canal surgery and various abdominal surgical procedures. He was in charge of a large 24 hour emergency hospital and is familiar with all kinds of veterinary emergencies. Dr. S's advanced Medicinal and Surgical expertise, combined with high level of integrity and compassion well enable him to diagnose and treat his patients successfully. |
Dr. Laura Cihocki DVM
Dr. Cihocki has earned her DVM diploma from Cornell University in 2005. Dr. Chocki s originally from New Jersey, she fell in love with California, and has been practicing small animal medicine here since graduating from Cornell. She has always loved animals and knew from age 8 that she would join the veterinary profession. Dr. Cihocki has passion for internal medicine, following up and solving complicated medical cases. She is a compassionate, and caring veterinarian who feels blessed being able to fulfill her life purpose and calling by helping pets and their families. Dr. Cihocki has a dog named Addie and a cat named George. When not at the hospital she enjoys baking, yoga, swing dancing, and community singing. |
Dr. Sharon Gold DVM, CVA
Dr. Gold has earned her DVM diploma in 1999 from The University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest, Hungary. Dr. Gold is a leading veterinarian in Integrative medicine. She has been practicing Veterinary Medicine in a variety of hospital settings, and posses an extensive internal medicine and emergency medicine knowledge. Dr. Gold deep passion for animal's well-being led her to seek further training and education, to enable her to extend additional treatment options for paralyzed and older animals that left without a sufficient remedy from Western veterinary medicine. She then pursued Eastern veterinary medicine education in the CHi instutue, (https://www.tcvm.com/) Florida. Dr. Gold was personally trained by the world most accomplished Veterinary acupuncturist, Dr. Xie and is a fully certified in veterinary acupuncture for both small and large animals. After witnessing astonishing results with Veterinary Acupuncture, she extended her Eastern medicine education, and acquired an Advanced Holistic Acupuncture Certification. This higher degree of expertise enables Dr. Gold to combine several eastern methods, for small & large animals. Having vast knowledge in both Western and Eastern medicine, Dr. Gold is able to provide her patients with the best of both worlds. |
Our Family
Dr. Gold and Dr. Shmueli met in Vet school and got married soon after their graduation.
They are the proud and loving parents of four boys : Saar (20 years old), Peleg (17 years old) and twins- Ofri and Kfir (14 years old). All the boys have been helping out and routinely work at the hospital. Born and grow into the veterinary world, they are familiar with many of the every day veterinary hospital maintenance routine and proper animal care.
The furry members of their family include three cats, three dogs, a growing family of chickens, two rabbit, two parakeets and a busy hamster. All are rescued pets.
They love spending time together and especially enjoy the outdoors and explore nature.
